Serena and Rotem's Wedding- November 2013

We were privileged to work with both beautiful families of Serena and Rotem.  The journey building up to the wedding was filled with laughter and joy; at times I was transported into one of Woody Allen’s movies, the intricacy of a large Jewish family gathering with all characters in place.
The theme for the day was “White Moroccan wedding”.  Serena was stunning with her Oscar del Renta wedding dress and Rotem looked like he stepped out of a magazine, elegant and sleek.
Opentable had planned and catered for the weekend event (wedding and a day after gathering lunch for 100 guests).   With a lush exotic sumptuous Moorish food, guests were transported into the colourful culinary maze like the markets of the Medina.  Tableware was brought directly from Morocco.  It was important for both family to incorporate dishes which reflects their heritage, Moroccan and Indian.
Not only did they include all their own favourites, like the Salmon Tarator and Milk Pudding with labne, apricot and Persian fairy floss, but took great care to make sure the kosher members were catered for just as well as the rest of the guests.
