Byron Bay 50th

On the 24th of August Brisbane goer Greg O'meana enjoyed a beautiful birthday party under the stars of Byron Bay. In a fantastic holiday house on the shores of Belongil less then 100 meters from the ocean, creating a perfect scenery and atmosphere for the event. Surrounded by his closest friends we all enjoyed a lovely evening filled with great food, drinks, friends and the refreshing sea breez. Open Table catered a roving canape with a huge selection of mouth watering bite size goodies. The entire staff of Open Table really enjoyed working and were glad to help create the evening, after all everything begins and ends with food.

Greg and Wendy O'meana's testimonial-

Dear Ronit,

Greg and I would like to thank you so much for the wonderful work you did catering for Greg's 50th birthday party at Byron Bay on the weekend. You made the whole process of organising an event remotely so easy - liaising with the hire company, assisting with menu selection  and working within our budget and helping  to create an atmosphere that our guests loved. Your attention to detail was second to none and ensured that the event flowed smoothly.

The food was absolutely superb and plentiful and everyone at the party has raved about it.    Your staff were exceptional - so professional and friendly and they totally added to the happy mood of the party ensuring drink glasses were full and that everyone had enough to eat.

It was an absolute pleasure to deal with you Ronit and your professionalism overlaid with an obvious passion for what you do is wonderful.
Many, many thanks

Warmest regards
Wendy

The Living Earth Festival - Mullumbimby 2013

This years Living Earth Festival was such a beautiful day, a day of celebration for many many things, celebrating great food and community, fathers day and the first day of spring. Chef Ronit Robbaz from Open Table did a 40 minute cooking demonstration for a crowd ranging from infants to oldies... Her demonstration included a papaya salad with tangelo lime sauce, raw arugula avocado samosas with cream fraiche and raw taco wraps with ladies gossip leaves.
Thousands of people joined together for a fun packed day on the streets of Mullumbimby, the skate park and of course the community gardens where many stalls were held and the abundant gardens were on display. If you missed out this year here is a short video from the echo made by local film maker to give you a taste of the day, make sure to join in next year. :)
